Privacy policy

Last reviewed: August 2026

The short version: everything you enter into SleepHelpr — your name, lab results, daily logs, symptoms — is written only to your device's local storage. SleepHelpr makes no network requests. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no third party that ever receives your data.

💾 What the app stores

This is stored in the app's private Application Support folder, inside Apple's standard sandboxed container. Other apps cannot read it. It is included in an encrypted iCloud or iTunes device backup if you have backups turned on, the same as any other app's local data — SleepHelpr itself never uploads it anywhere.

🚫 What this app does not do

❤️ Health data and your rights

Lab results and symptom logs are health-related data. Because they never leave your device, SleepHelpr is not itself a data controller for that information under GDPR or similar laws — there is no transmission for it to control. You remain in sole possession of it.

You can review everything the app holds by opening each tab — nothing is hidden or stored outside what you can see in the app. You can delete all of it at any time from Learn → Settings → Reset all data, or by deleting the app, which removes its entire local storage immediately.

👪 Children

SleepHelpr is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian and a doctor involved in any dosing decision.

🔄 Changes to this policy

If a future version of this app adds any feature that sends data off the device — sync, backup to a server, or similar — this policy will be updated in that version to describe exactly what is sent, to whom, and why, before that feature is enabled.
